Here I am Back after a long time to share about recent superhit Drama “Secret Garden” starring Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won.
At 34, Kim Joo Won (Hyun Bin) is a rich, proud and arrogant CEO of a huge departmental store. Always so full of himself and never settles for any suggestions without his very famous question, “Are you sure this the best you could come up with?”
If he had been my CEO I’d really have hated him
On the other Side Gil Ra Im (Ha Ji Won) is a simple and poor girl working as a stunt woman. She has great looks and figure by which she often gets mistaken as the main actress. She lives in a small cramped house with her pretty friend Im Ah Young, who is the girlfriend of Kim Joo Won’s secretary Kim Sung Woo. They are a cute & funny couple.
Gil Ra Im is a crazy fan of Oska / Choi Woo Young (Yoon Sang Hyun) who happens to be the not so friendly cousin of our arrogant CEO Kim Joo Won. Oska was a successful singer once upon a time and tries to use the same old fame even after 36. Its very funny whenever he keeps saying “Hey you know I am a Hallyu Star..” and no one recognizes
The cousins bickering & fighting over silly things are all super ROFL moments.
Yoon Seul (Kim Sa Rang) is a Director, very sophisticated and elegant rich girl, currently the fiancee of Kim Joo Won but once used to be the love interest of Oska during his successful period. They break up over a misunderstanding still are in love with each other but neither of them acknowledges it.
Im Jong Soo (Lee Philip) is the Director of the Action School Group where Gil Ra Im works. He is in love with Gil Ra Im one-sidedly but never expresses it. I admire this actor’s English pronunciations. Brilliant!
In an effort to clear a scandal of Oska with an actress, Kim Joo Won meets Gil Ra Im mistaking her for the main actress. One thing leading to other they meet up few more occasions and eventually Kim Joo Won starts to admire Gil Ra Im for her amazing stunts & skills. He mocks her for her poverty quite arrogantly. Completely clueless that he has fallen in love with her & keeps wondering why he always keeps thinking of her. So funny to see him always hanging around her action school in his favorite glittering sweatshirts. Poor Guy
Gil Ra Im gives him a tough & well deserving counter attack every time and in one such incident they take up a bet and travel to a deep forest. After some dramatic incidents there, the next fine day both their souls get interchanged. Its very funny after the body exchange where Kim Joo Won the great CEO has to live poor girl Gil Ra Im’ s life and Gil Ra Im as a guy. Whatttta scenario.. Man that must be a Nightmare!!
These events bring them both to a better understanding of each other and many more sweet incidents happen. One of the them is The famous ‘Foam Kiss’ in the Coffee shop which works out great for Joo Won & Ra Im but when the poor secretary tries the same with his girl friend Ah Young, haha how it ends up…. I’m not gonna unviel any more here as you all need to actually watch and enjoy them.
The story goes in all possible directions seriously I was even little confused initially if I need to continue watching this drama. But the main gluing factor of this drama is the wonderful Chemistry between Kim Joo Won & Gil Ra Im. One of the Best on screen pairs ever. Gotta give it to both Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won for brilliantly portraying such little complex roles so naturally.
I enjoyed a lot watching this thanks to the magnetic chemistry & acting of the main pair, the cast, wonderful OSTs (I love the track ‘Bois~Scar’), a refreshing & well written script. A well deserved success! I’ m happy I watched it completely.. Hope you all will like it too

This is a super nice post! wow, body exchange? haha such scenarios give the actors a wider scope for acting, and from what you’ve written, looks like they’ve done a great job too!
Great post yet again and I cannot wait to watch this show!

so good. excellent OST. great acting. witty and engaging lines. cinematography is love.
worth finishing. worth reruns (yeah plural). worth buying the original copy of the dvd and the OSTs.
(I just wished there were more BehindTheScenes! I fell for the actors both on screen and behind the scenes, their interactions are just… wonderful.)
Yes.. I’m finding it very difficult to follow any other dramas too recently… Secret Garden has spoiled me so much… I watch OSTs and NGs, behind the scenes videos from Youtube daily and console myself.. Great to know you loved it too…. Thanks for reading
